6 WAYS TO LOSE THE LOVE HANDLES

                                                                            1. Eat Red Peppers:
This spicy addition to a meal can help rev up your metabolism; it’s also a good source of vitamins A, C, B6, folate, potassium, vitamin E, vitamin K and fiber.

2.          Replace Your Snacks with Soups

Swapping out two typical daily snacks for two servings of soup may result in up to a 50 percent greater weight loss among overweight dieters–even if the soup and the snacks have the same exact number of calories.

3. Drink Lots of Water:

Drop more pounds faster by drinking two cups of water before each meal. You’ve probably heard that drinking water before you eat can help you lose weight, the theory behind this recommendation is that the water helps fill you up so that you end up eating less at mealtime, which leads to fewer calories consumed in the day.

 4. Drink Green Tea:

Chemicals in green tea, along with caffeine, are thought to burn fat and reduce weight. They also improve body measurement parameters like body mass index, waist circumference and waist-to-hip ratio.

5. Make Sure You Drink Your Milk: People trying to lose weight might have greater success if they have higher intakes of calcium from dairy products (e.g. milk, cheese, yogurt) and higher levels of vitamin D in their blood.

6. When You Get the Weight Off, Keep it Off:

Exercise is your best bet to make sure that the pounds you shed stay off. Set a limit for yourself. If you find yourself gaining more then 5 lbs., it’s time to get back on track. If you don’t like scales, simply use your clothes. If they are feeling tight, it’s time to get moving.

12 Million Reasons the SEC Should Expand

I am a proponent of Texas A&MOklahomaFlorida State and Louisville joining the SEC and I will provide you with 12 million reasons.

If in fact, you always follow the money, then I think it important to follow the TV advertising.  If you understand Advertising, you understand that eyeballs on ads equals revenue and the more eyeballs, the more revenue.

As the SEC presently sits spread out over the South Eastern United States largely in smaller population Metropolitan areas, in smaller population states.

Here is a table I made listing present SEC cities and their population, and the growth to 16 Teams from 12 with the addition of Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Louisville, and Florida State.

As you can see, this is a huge Revenue Boost from CBS and ESPN.  The Eyes on Ads just went up by 252% by adding these 4 Teams.... I would estimate TV Payout for Football alone to be upwards of $30 Million per Team.

In this market of reduced Donations from Alumni, this money cannot be ignored.  The SEC has won the last 5 National Championships in Football, the last 3 in Baseball, Texas A&M has won the last 3 National Titles in Track and Field with the last 11 Champions coming from the new SEC, and the Basketball Tournament Revenue from SEC with Louisville, OK, in the mix would be staggering.

SEC plus 4 makes HUGE Economic Sense.

I believe a 16 Team SEC is in the works, like all things this size and momentum, the ship doesn't turn on a dime.  I believe the SEC is getting all the pieces in place to make one large announcement.   Texas A&M is blazing the trail and laying down smoke screen for the other 3 teams to get things in place behind the scenes.  I look for an announcement around the labor day weekend and the start of College Football.

All the attention will shift to the SEC and College Football....  Cannot wait for The Football Season to get underway.

Diet Soda Really Causes Weight Gain!!!!

(NaturalNews) Contrary to popular belief, diet soda and other foods and beverages made with artificial sweeteners like aspartame are not healthy, and they do not bring about weight loss.
A landmark new study out of Texas confirms this, having found that not only do diet sodas not help with weight loss, but they actually cause both weight gain and health problems.  Those that consumed two or more diet sodas a day experienced waist size increases that were a shocking six times greater than those who did not drink diet soda.
Presented at the annual meeting of the American Diabetes Association (ADA), the findings debunk the false notion that drinking diet beverages is beneficial for weight loss. Since consuming them actually leads to a 70 percent increase in waist size compared to those who do not drink them, it is clear that using the name “diet” is, in and of itself, misleading.
US Food and Drug Administration adverse event reports going back several decades indicate that artificial sweeteners like aspartame are also responsible for destroying brain neurons, which in turn leads to a host of chronic illnesses.  These include, but are not limited to, chronic headaches, seizures, strokes, vascular disorders, heart disease, premature birth, dementia and other brain disorders, and cancer.
So rather than consume artificially-sweetened beverages and foods with the hope that they will somehow induce weight gain and promote health — two notions that have proven once again to be false — the best way to begin to lose weight is to consume less processed, refined sugars and simple carbohydrates in the first place.

Vitamin D3 & Calcium slash skin cancer risk by 50%..... Dr Hotze

VITAMIN D AND CALCIUM SLASHES RISK OF SKIN CANCER BY 50 PERCENT

(NaturalNews) Another study has verified the outstanding health benefits of taking vitamin D and calcium, this one showing that the supplements can reduce a woman’s risk of developing skin cancer by as much as 50 percent.
And while calcium and vitamin D have long been known to aid in the growth of bones, researchers increasingly are finding that they also affect other cells. For instance, prior studies have found that calcium and vitamin D can help lower incidences of prostate, colon, breast and other cancers.
Dr. Tang speculated that cancer cells may have been present in the skin of women who have had prior non-melanoma cancer but that taking “calcium and vitamin D… reduces the risk of developing an actual tumor.
This latest study is just more proof of vitamin D’s positive effects on overall health.
One recent study found that low vitamin D levels tend to be linked to more aggressive breast cancers, as well as a higher risk of recurrence.
“Many oncologists are already following vitamin D levels in their breast cancer patients and recommending supplements for low levels,” said Dr. Laurie Kirstein, a breast surgeon at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. “To link vitamin D levels to the aggressiveness of a particular type of breast cancer is an interesting finding.”
Besides cancers, vitamin D has also been found to help control and prevent depression, osteoporosis and can even have positive effects on obesity and diabetes.
