I am a proponent of Texas A&MOklahomaFlorida State and Louisville joining the SEC and I will provide you with 12 million reasons.

If in fact, you always follow the money, then I think it important to follow the TV advertising.  If you understand Advertising, you understand that eyeballs on ads equals revenue and the more eyeballs, the more revenue.

As the SEC presently sits spread out over the South Eastern United States largely in smaller population Metropolitan areas, in smaller population states.

Here is a table I made listing present SEC cities and their population, and the growth to 16 Teams from 12 with the addition of Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Louisville, and Florida State.

As you can see, this is a huge Revenue Boost from CBS and ESPN.  The Eyes on Ads just went up by 252% by adding these 4 Teams.... I would estimate TV Payout for Football alone to be upwards of $30 Million per Team.

In this market of reduced Donations from Alumni, this money cannot be ignored.  The SEC has won the last 5 National Championships in Football, the last 3 in Baseball, Texas A&M has won the last 3 National Titles in Track and Field with the last 11 Champions coming from the new SEC, and the Basketball Tournament Revenue from SEC with Louisville, OK, in the mix would be staggering.

SEC plus 4 makes HUGE Economic Sense.

I believe a 16 Team SEC is in the works, like all things this size and momentum, the ship doesn't turn on a dime.  I believe the SEC is getting all the pieces in place to make one large announcement.   Texas A&M is blazing the trail and laying down smoke screen for the other 3 teams to get things in place behind the scenes.  I look for an announcement around the labor day weekend and the start of College Football.

All the attention will shift to the SEC and College Football....  Cannot wait for The Football Season to get underway.

Diet Soda Really Causes Weight Gain!!!!

(NaturalNews) Contrary to popular belief, diet soda and other foods and beverages made with artificial sweeteners like aspartame are not healthy, and they do not bring about weight loss.
A landmark new study out of Texas confirms this, having found that not only do diet sodas not help with weight loss, but they actually cause both weight gain and health problems.  Those that consumed two or more diet sodas a day experienced waist size increases that were a shocking six times greater than those who did not drink diet soda.
Presented at the annual meeting of the American Diabetes Association (ADA), the findings debunk the false notion that drinking diet beverages is beneficial for weight loss. Since consuming them actually leads to a 70 percent increase in waist size compared to those who do not drink them, it is clear that using the name “diet” is, in and of itself, misleading.
US Food and Drug Administration adverse event reports going back several decades indicate that artificial sweeteners like aspartame are also responsible for destroying brain neurons, which in turn leads to a host of chronic illnesses.  These include, but are not limited to, chronic headaches, seizures, strokes, vascular disorders, heart disease, premature birth, dementia and other brain disorders, and cancer.
So rather than consume artificially-sweetened beverages and foods with the hope that they will somehow induce weight gain and promote health — two notions that have proven once again to be false — the best way to begin to lose weight is to consume less processed, refined sugars and simple carbohydrates in the first place.

Vitamin D3 & Calcium slash skin cancer risk by 50%..... Dr Hotze

VITAMIN D AND CALCIUM SLASHES RISK OF SKIN CANCER BY 50 PERCENT

(NaturalNews) Another study has verified the outstanding health benefits of taking vitamin D and calcium, this one showing that the supplements can reduce a woman’s risk of developing skin cancer by as much as 50 percent.
And while calcium and vitamin D have long been known to aid in the growth of bones, researchers increasingly are finding that they also affect other cells. For instance, prior studies have found that calcium and vitamin D can help lower incidences of prostate, colon, breast and other cancers.
Dr. Tang speculated that cancer cells may have been present in the skin of women who have had prior non-melanoma cancer but that taking “calcium and vitamin D… reduces the risk of developing an actual tumor.
This latest study is just more proof of vitamin D’s positive effects on overall health.
One recent study found that low vitamin D levels tend to be linked to more aggressive breast cancers, as well as a higher risk of recurrence.
“Many oncologists are already following vitamin D levels in their breast cancer patients and recommending supplements for low levels,” said Dr. Laurie Kirstein, a breast surgeon at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. “To link vitamin D levels to the aggressiveness of a particular type of breast cancer is an interesting finding.”
Besides cancers, vitamin D has also been found to help control and prevent depression, osteoporosis and can even have positive effects on obesity and diabetes.

Thyroid Drugs Raise Fracture Risk (article Debunk)

Thyroid Drugs May Raise Fracture Risk in Elderly (Not Alone)

As patients age, levothyroxine treatment needs close monitoring, researchers say I agree, but most benefit from (Natural Porcine Thyroid instead of Levothyroxine "synthetic")

The findings suggest that treatment targets may have to be modified in elderly patients with thyroid problems and that regular dose monitoring of thyroid drugs is essential into older age, the researchers said.
Reporting in the online April 28 edition of the BMJ, they examined the link between fractures and levothyroxine, a synthetic form of thyroid hormone, which is widely used to treat an underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism).  Key here is "Levothyroxine" which contains only T-4 people unable to process T4 into T3 find "levothyroxine ineffective"
Many patients with hypothyroidism are diagnosed in early or middle adulthood.  (other hormones are also declining ie Progesterone, Testosterone, Estrogen, Vit D3) Even though their treatment requirements change as they age, many patients remain on the same drug dose Poor Doctoring. This can lead to excess or under levels of thyroid hormone, which increases the risk of fractures, especially in older women, the study authors explained.
Progesterone taken with Magnesium, Calcium, and DHEA will rebuild Bone Density and Mass, Thyroid level didn't cause this, but other declining hormones did.. combined with Levo's lack of T3 the which what is needed at cellular level..
They analyzed data from over 213,500 patients, aged 70 or older, in the province of Ontario, Canada, who filled at least one prescription for levothyroxine between April 1, 2002 and March 31, 2007. During the study period, more than 22,000 (10.4 percent) of the patients suffered at least one fracture.  Did they also check T-3 Level, Progesterone?, Magnesium, Calcium, Vitamin D3, Progesterone-Magnesium-D3 are synergistic enabling bone regrowth"

http://www.space-age.com/Clinical%20Study%20BMD01.pdf    This study deomonstrates benefit of Progesterone/Magnesium for rebuilding lost bone density.
Current and recent past users (who had discontinued the drug 15 to 180 days before the start of the study) had a significantly higher fracture risk than "remote" users (who had discontinued use of the drug more than 180 days before the start of the study).
Among current users, those who took high or medium doses of the drug were much more likely to suffer a fracture than those who took a low dose.
"Our findings provide evidence that levothyroxine treatment may increase the risk of fragility fractures in older people even at conventional dosages, suggesting that closer monitoring and modification of treatment targets may be warranted in this vulnerable population," concluded Lorraine Lipscombe, a scientist at the Women's College Research Institute in Toronto, and colleagues.  This assumption is too broad based, why did you not compare T4/T3 Levels, TSH, Progesterone, Vitamin d3, Testosterone, Magnesium, Estrogen Levels These are all Cholesterol based "hormones" and thus work together and interact"
One expert wasn't surprised by the findings.
"It has long been known that high or excessive doses of levothyroxine usage predispose [people] to increases in osteoporosis and the risk of fracture," said Dr. Irwin Klein, director of the thyroid unit and associate chairman of the department of medicine at the North Shore-LIJ Health System in Manhasset, N.Y. "This study further confirms this finding in an elderly population of women who are inherently at risk for this occurrence."
Klein also noted that the study underscores the need for preventive action.how do you prevent low thyroid ?
"As the authors conclude, it is important to monitor thyroid blood tests -- especially TSH levels -- to prevent this potential adverse health burden," he said.
I am low thyroid, go to www.hotzehwc.com, Dr. Hotze understands the interaction of all cholesterol based hormones, in addition to Vitamin D3, Magnesium...  This study being based in Canada, colder climate people are known to have lower Vitamin D3 levels (less sunlight hours).....
If you are low thyroid I recommend having all your cholesterol based hormones monitored and balanced....  Do not believe everything modern medicine suggests...  Natural Hormones and Vitamins balanced properly can significantly improve health and well being of many older people.

8 Simple Household Uses for Good Old Fashioned Cheap Vinegar

1. General Cleaner and Disinfectant

From countertops and windows to bathtubs to hardwood floors, countless household surfaces can be cleaned with vinegar. “You can clean and disinfect just about anything with vinegar and water,” Joy B. shares. And as mother-of-two Katherine C. advises, you can use pure vinegar or a diluted solution, depending on the severity of the dirty situation: “Use vinegar full-strength for tough cleaning jobs and to remove lime or hard water stains, or mix the vinegar with warm water for a milder green cleaner.”

2. Fabric Softener

“I use vinegar in the rinse cycle to remove residue from detergent and to soften clothes,” shares mother-of-five Lori P. “I use 1 to 2 oz depending on load size. And when clothes are dry there is no vinegar scent.” As a natural fabric softener, vinegar is an especially smart choice when a family member has sensitive skin or allergies to dyes and perfumes.

3. Odor Remover

Is a strong scent lingering in your home? Vinegar is a natural odor remover. Ontario mom Jessica G. boils vinegar to remove odor evidence of her wood-burning stove, while Ohio mother-of-five Deborah B. simply sets out a small bowl of vinegar: Remove lingering tobacco odors by filling a small bowl or saucer with apple cider vinegar and placing it in the room where the odor is…. within a few days your room will smell fresh and clean.”

4. Stain Remover

Whether you’re cleaning carpets or cloth diapers, vinegar is a powerful stain remover. Mother-of-one Toni L. explains: “Put a good amount of baking soda on the stain, then spray/sprinkle some white vinegar over the baking soda. It will go really bubbly and smell very strongly of vinegar. Put in wash and ta-da! Stain gone!”

5. Blemish Treatment

Vinegar is also a simple remedy for curing pimples. As Joanne E. suggests: “To banish blemishes fast combine 1 tsp. salt and 3 Tbs. vinegar in a bowl and dab on pimples using a cotton ball. Let sit 30 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.”

6. Drain Cleaner

Moms like Jodi L. swear by baking soda and vinegar for freshening up kitchen drains: “To keep sink drains clean and odor free I periodically pour baking soda into the drain, then white distilled vinegar. The foaming actions cleans the pipes.”

7. Pots and Pans Cleaner

Why spend 20 minutes scouring off burnt food when vinegar and baking soda can do the work for you? As mother-of-three Sharon G. suggests: “Use vinegar & baking soda for stainless steel potsSprinkle the bottoms (inside bottoms) of the pans with baking soda, put on over the heat (stove) pour on vinegar after a minute. This will lift any baked-on crud.”

8. Weed Killer

Vinegar is a helpful tool outside, too. As Vicki H. advises: “Vinegar in a spray bottle kills grass and weeds in sidewalk cracks too...my new fave.”
